Nedžad Eminagić,
Head of department for networks and services, Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Mr. Eminagić was born in 1968, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). In 1996 he finished air traffic control study at the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Transport and Communications becoming Air traffic control engineer. In 1998 he graduated law study at the University of Sarajevo, Law Faculty. He worked in Department of civil aviation of BiH until 1999. From 1999 to 2001 he worked with the Office of Human Rights Ombudsman/Ombudsmen of BiH.
From 2001 he works with the Communications Regulatory Agency of BiH (CRA). His positions in the CRA were: Senior Telecommunication Layer, Expert adviser for licensing of numeration, and currently he held position of Head of department for market regulation in Sector for interconnection and market regulation.
Mr. Eminagić attended different domestic and international events supported by ITU, CRA and other organizations.
At the ITU “SEMINAR ON ENFORCING TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAW, POLICY AND REGULATIONS”, held on 8 March 2005 - Geneva, Switzerland, Mr. Eminagić presented the work “The Presentation of the Problems in NRA’s Enforcement Practices in Telecom Cases with International Aspects”.
At the International Conference „Expanding Broadband Access and Acceptance”, Budva, 28 to 29 September 2015, Mr. Eminagić had the presentation “OTT SERVICES – THE OPEN INTERNET AS CHALLENGE TO CLASSICAL TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES”.
At the ITU-EC REGIONAL CONFERENCE FOR EUROPE ON “BROADBAND SERVICES AND INFRASTRUCTURE MAPPING” WARSAW, APRIL 11 – 12, 2016, Mr. Eminagić presented the work “Infrastructure mapping in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
His main fields of activities relate to relationship problems amongst the telecom operators, user rights and customer protection, regulatory problems and the framework for construction of telecom networks, legal interception and other telecommunication issues.
