Johanna Juusela
Johanna Juusela is a Director at the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA). Her mission is to ensure that Finland will be the most advanced digital society in the world. At FICORA, the main goal of her work is to guarantee that every Finnish citizen and company have access to high-speed internet connections. Her responsibilities include, among others, promoting competition in the communications markets and services as well as protecting users' rights.
Johanna has worked for FICORA since 2001. Previously she worked several years at the Finnish Competition Authority. Her education background includes a Licentiate in Agricultural Economics (Finnish MML) from the University of Helsinki and an MBA from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (nowadays Aalto University).
