Tim Cowen, an equity partner at Preiskel & Co and a leading telecoms and technology regulatory/competition lawyer, is currently representing a range of companies in the EU Commission's ongoing investigations of Google's abuse of dominance in online search and bundling of applications for Android. He has dealt with a large number of reported litigation cases such as Streetmap's High Court claim for damages against Google and CityFibre's pending case before the Competition Appeal Tribunal. He previously led BT Group Plc’s competition law and public policy team, and has specialist expertise in the competition issues arising from mergers of telecommunications companies.
