Peter Grüter

Chief Financial Officer, Fastweb S.p.A.

Chief Financial Officer of Fastweb, Italy’s largest alternative wireline operator, since 2014. Peter worked for Swisscom, Fastweb’s mother company, starting in 2005. He headed various strategy functions and was associate member of the executive board. He set the group’s network and Internet service strategy, and shaped the Next Generation Access Network (NGAN) roadmaps of both Swisscom in Switzerland and Fastweb.

Before joining Swisscom, Peter served as management consultant with McKinsey and Comp, Berlin.  He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris.
