Jacek Nieweglowski

Chief Strategy Officer, PLAY

Jacek has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications industry. He started his career as a manager in Nokia’s corporate R&D center in Finland leading number of R&D projects and representing Nokia in international standardization bodies such as ISO/IEC and ITU-T. In Poland he worked for a mobile operator PTC (T-Mobile) as Network Development Director. Later he held numerous executive positions in Polish alternative fixed line and CaTV subsidiaries of Vivendi Universal. He holds MSc and PhD degrees from Tampere University of Technology in Finland, MBA from London Business School and is a co-author of number of publications and patent applications.

Since 2005 Jacek served as Chief Strategy Officer at PLAY, Polish mobile operator, where he has been responsible for corporate strategy, business development, regulatory affairs as well as wholesale operations and international liaisons.
