Résidence Palace
(for Pre-Conference Cocktail Reception 18:00-20:00 on Tuesday 1 June 2010)

Since July 2001, the International Press Centre Résidence Palace has become the meeting place par excellence for journalists, policy-makers, spokesmen and communications experts from Belgium and abroad.
The Résidence Palace offers top-quality infrastructure and service in a unique Art Deco building with a rich and prestigious history.
All the Résidence Palace rooms are equipped with the very latest technology.
The Polak Room, where we will be holding our event, is named after Swiss architect Michel Polak who, in addition to the Résidence Palace, also designed the famous Empain building on Avenue Roosevelt. It is the largest room in the press centre, capable of accommodating 143 people and permanently set up for meetings.
The café/restaurant is located in what used to be the Banqueting Hall of the Résidence Palace, now renovated in its original colours to make it look exactly how it used to be back in the 1920s.
