GETTING THERE – Résidence Palace (1 June, 18:00 – 20:00)
Train: Schuman railway station is underneath the Résidence Palace and is the ideal place to alight for the International Press Centre. When you arrive in the station, just follow the arrows to the "Résidence/Residentie" and opt for the Rue de la Loi exit, which will lead you to the main entrance of the International Press Centre.
Metro: Schuman metro station (line 1) is underneath the Résidence Palace and is the ideal place to alight for the International Press Centre. When you arrive in the station, just follow the arrows to the "Résidence/Residentie" and opt for the Rue de la Loi exit, which will lead you to the main entrance to the International Press Centre.
By car: (latitude & longitude : 50° 50' 33" & 4° 22' 50" or 50,8427 & 4,3808)
To calculate your vehicle route, you may pay a visit, for example, to the following site http://www.derouckgeomatics.com/ Specify your point of departure and arrival to find out exactly what route to take. When you arrive at Résidence Palace, the nearest car park is the "Loi parking" (P2 in map below), whose entrance is located at chaussée d'Etterbeek 25, 1040 Brussels. It is open from Monday to Friday, 6.30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A few parking spaces are also available for VIPs in front of the Résidence Palace (P1 in map below). NB. please note you should book this directly with the Résidence Palace on +32 (0)2 235 2111.
GETTING THERE – Bibliothèque Solvay (2 June, 09:00 – 17:00)
From Brussels International Airport (Zaventem):
By taxi: Price: 35€ (20-30 minutes)
By train: Up to 4 trains an hour to Brussels (20-30 minutes). Get off at Central Station/Gare Centrale. Take Metro line 1A towards Hermann-Debroux or Metro 1B towards Stockel. Get off at "Maelbeek" station and take the Chaussée d’Etterbeek's exit (metro: 5 minutes). At the exit, turn right and walk 5 minutes on Chaussée d’Etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard and follow signs to La Bibliothèque Solvay. The building is at the top of the Park, on your left.
From Train Station “Midi/Zuid” (Eurostar/TGV/Thalys):
By bus: Bus 27 towards "Midi". Get off at Parc Léopold. 200 meter walk to "La Bibliothèque Solvay".
By metro: Take Metro 2 towards Simonis. Change at Arts-Loi to Metro 1A towards Herrmann-Debroux or 1B towards Stockel. Get off at Maelbeek and take Chaussée d’Etterbeek exit (metro: 15 minutes). Turn right and walk 7 minutes on Chaussée d’Etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard and follow signs to La Bibliothèque Solvay. The building is at the top of the Park, on your left.
From Rondpoint Schuman (Charlemagne, Breydel, Justus Lipsius):
Take Rue Froissart in the direction of Place Jourdan. Turn right on rue Belliard and follow it until you see the entrance to the Parc Léopold on your left. Follow the signs to La Bibliothèque Solvay (3 minute drive; 8 minute walk).
By Car: The entrance by car to the Parc Léopold is not allowed. Parking is possible at:
§ “Parking Arts/Loi”, 25 Chaussée d’Etterbeek (from there, walk 8 minutes on Chaussée d’Etterbeek. Cross Rue Belliard and follow signs to La Bibliothèque Solvay. The building is at the top of the Park, on your left.
§ The parking "Loi" is open from Monday to Friday from 6h30 to 22h00. However this parking is not free.
§ Place Jourdan - from there, take walk down Chaussée d’Etterbeek. When you reach rue Belliard, turn left and follow it until you see the entrance of the Parc Léopold on your left. Follow the signs to La Bibliothèque Solvay.

2 June 2010 - The Registration Area is situated in the main lobby, immediately ahead of you as you enter the building. All delegates should collect their badges and an attendee list. Please bring a business card when you arrive so that we can check your details. The Registration Desk will be open from 08.00am CET.
You will need to wear your delegate badge to gain access to the “High Speed Internet For All” Conference and your badge must be worn at all times.
DELEGATE LUNCH
Lunch for the delegates will be available in the Rotonde.
