Cuatrecasas, Olivencia-Ballester recruits Mercedes Izquierdo, member of the legal office of the government of Andalucia, as a partner

The firm's new partner, a former Supreme Court lawyer and Director General of Town Planning and Development in the Andalucian Government, will head the Public Law Area in the Seville office.

A member of the Legal Office of the Autonomous Regional Government of Andalucia, former Director General of its Town Planning and Development department and former Supreme Court lawyer, Mercedes Izquierdo has recently joined Cuatrecasas, Olivencia-Ballester, where she will head up the Public Law Area in its Seville office. This move forms part of the firm's continuing expansion of its practice areas in Andalucia following the amalgamation of Olivencia-Ballester and Cuatrecasas to provide its clients with integrated legal services in all areas of corporate law.

Mercedes Izquierdo graduated in law from the Universidad de Sevilla and has wide experience in public law. During her professional career, as well as being a member of the Legal Office of the Government of Andalucia, she has been its Director General of Town Planning and Development and has worked as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Spain.
