ECTA Regulatory Distribution Lists
ECTA Full and Affiliate Members receive regulatory information from the ECTA secretariat and are able to input to and influence ECTA policy by email.
To manage this, depending on your required level of involvement, we add individual representatives from ECTA Member companies (as many as you like) as either 'active' or 'passive' subscribers to our regulatory distribution lists for any/all of the following subject groups*. Please note Associate Members receive executive summarised information only (see Member Info below).
Adding your name 'actively' to a distribution group means that you will be 'copied in cc' on all communications relating to that group and you will be able to actively participate in the policy development process. As an ‘active’ member of the group, you will be copied in on all comments and responses from members and so this can potentially lead to a relatively high volume of emails for the group.
Alternatively, adding your name ‘passively’ to a distribution group means that you will only be (blind copied bcc) on the initial and summarised policy information relating to that group. You will not see the various inputs, comments and submissions from individual ECTA members.
It is of course always possible to change your ‘active’ and ‘passive’ selections on these lists at any time should you change your mind. Simply contact Sara Russell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
