ECTA Regulatory Conference 2011
Around 300 attendees from Europe's policy making institutions and industry representatives from across the globe joined ECTA for it's annual Regulatory Conference in Brussels 28-30th November 2011.
Vice-President Neelie Kroes, Commissioner in charge of the Digital Agenda, made the opening keynote speech on Monday 28 November where amongst other things she reiterated the importance of competition in promoting infrastructure investment and not returning to the monopolies of the eighties. Vice-President Kroes' speech was followed by a speech by Magdalena Gaj, Deputy Minister, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Infrastructure on behalf of the Polish Presidency
