Austrian Association of Alternative Telecommunications Operators
(Verband Alternativer Telekom-Netzbetreiber – VAT)
VAT, a network partner of the Association of the Electrical and Electronics Industries (FEEI), was established in 1997 and represents the interests of Austrian alternative telecom operators. VAT-member companies from the fixed and mobile sector are Colt, Hutchison, T-Mobile, Tele2, and Verizon.
VATs goal is to establish a fair and sustainable competition on the Austrian telecom market for the benefit of customers and to strengthen Austria as a business location.
VAT supports its members success by advocating the strengthening of Austria as a business location and incentives to invest in the ICT industry, and by communicating the positive contributions of alternative telecom operators towards an enhanced customer value.
