
Richard Lalande
Chairman, AFORS Télécom
Senior Executive Vice President of SFR, Richard Lalande has been Chairman of AFORST, the association of French alternative operators, since May 2004.
He joined Compangie Générale des Eaux (presently Vivendi) in 1987, and played a key role in the establishement of SFR, prior to serving as its Managing Director.
In 1995, he launched Cegetel, the fixed-line business of SFR. In 1999, he also became Chairman of Monaco Telecom, which Vivendi sold in 2004.
Prior to joining Vivendi, Richard Lalande served France Telecom, different governmental entities and CGCT, a former ITT subsidiary involved in equipment manufacturing.
